Welcome to our parish website and an introduction to our parish community. We are a diverse family of faith which seeks daily to discover the presence of Jesus Christ in our world, in our local community of Hudson, and in one another. We come from many areas --Hudson, Nashua, Merrimack, and from towns in Massachusetts. We are blessed with an active, vibrant community which enjoys many blessings from God.
Through the intercession of our patroness, Saint Catherine of Siena, we seek the truth found in the Gospels and make every attempt to integrate those truths into our lives. As Catherine was a mystic, we look to her to teach us the beauty of the inner life of God; as a contemplative, we imitate her through our desire to meditate on God's presence to us in our world, in our Church, and in one another; as a woman of the Eucharist, we take the time to be with the Eucharistic Lord through adoration and our celebration of the Sacred Mysteries.
Like Catherine, we find ourselves in the privileged position of responding as best as we can to the needs of the poor. Our companion church is Saint Andrew's in Fiji, allowing us to reach out to those beyond our own land. We are called and committed to working in and supplying the needs of our local food pantry found at Saint John's in Hudson. We try our best to offer consolation and hope to those who are struggling. Constantly, we pray that we may, indeed, be the light on the hill so that all may come to know the goodness, love, and mercy of God through our service on this holy hill. Our ministries reach out to children, to our young people, the many young families who comprise our parish, to adults seeking a deeper relationship with the Lord, and to the elderly. Catechesis, worship, outreach, and evangelization mark our presence in Hudson and to the wider community of faith.
We are both humbled and proud of our community. We are humbled by the many blessings that God has given to us; we are proud that we are able to share our gifts, our worship, our activities, and most of all, those very blessings we have received with others. Come and join us! Celebrate Holy Mass with us and the life of our community. You will receive a warm welcome and always an invitation to be a part of us--whether as a regular member or from afar. The first visit may find you coming as a stranger--we pray that as you leave from that first visit, you will be a part of our family!
