Each year, we offer several book discussions led by a member of the parish. These are informal gatherings where we discuss a rich Catholic title--a parish page-turner!--and ask questions, share reflections, and grow together in faith. Deacon Ray led our first series of discussions on Christopher Carstens' A Devotional Journey into the Mass. See below for details on the next book!
In light of the church sexual abuse scandal, why stay Catholic?
Bill Maniotis will lead two book discussions on Bishop Robert Barron's Letter to a Suffering Church. If you are one of hundreds of parishioners who picked up a complimentary copy of this book in the church recently, these discussions are for you--or for anyone else reading it!
The book discussions take place on Saturday, January 4th from 9:30-10:45 a.m. with part two on Saturday, January, 18th from 9:30-10:45 a.m. in Hall B. Book discussions will not be recorded and posted. Participants should read the book prior to attending a discussion. There are still some free copies in the parish office. Please register below.
