Each spring, our parish Tithing Council accepts applications from graduating high school seniors for fall scholarships. Scholarships are awarded each year to a students or students who will be attending college or trade school in the fall, have maintained a C or better average in high school, and are active, registered, confirmed parishioners of Saint Kathryn's. Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire is looking for volunteers! Help them end homelessness "one family at a time" by donating an hour or two to staff their building to assist residents; or to babysit in the evenings; or to make a meal and drop it off on a weeknight. March 12, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Join the Diocese of Manchester for a virtual Lenten Evening of Reflection for young adult Catholics led by Kathy Tardif, Director of Campus Ministry at Plymouth State University. Lent can be a stark time of self-denial, hard sacrifice, and struggle with our weaknesses. Beauty can seem a luxury, too extravagant for such a season. Yet beauty plays an important role in the spiritual life, uplifting our souls and even saving them. Come refresh yourself with an evening devoted to beauty in its many forms. There is no fee, but you must register to participate. Facilitator bio: Kathy Tardif has been the Catholic Campus Minister at Plymouth State University for 16 years, has been a spiritual director for over 10 years and has advanced training in Ignatian spirituality. Religious education registration forms for grades 1-10 for school year 2020-2021 are available online by clicking the title of this post. Forms are also available in the back of the church. Register by June 1st to avoid late fees! Tuition is $40/child and $80/family maximum. Confirmation this year will be for grades 3, 6, and 7. Please get your registrations in as soon as possible to ensure that your children are placed in the group that is convenient to your schedule.

Men, women, young adults and teens can now complete home Bible Study online through the group “Walking With Purpose” found on Facebook and at WalkingWithPurpose.com. Presently, it consists of a breakdown of the upcoming Sunday readings. This allows you to come before your TV each Sunday morning for the livestream Mass prepared to hear and to understand what is being said. A great spiritual resource for this time of seclusion!
